These terms and conditions apply to every reservation of Bungalow Woldzicht, De Valouwe 40, 8426 EZ Appelscha, hereinafter "the landlord". "The guest" is the person who makes the booking, also on behalf of the other people travelling with them.
By submitting a booking request via https://bungalow-woldzicht.nl/boeken.php, the guest agrees to these terms and to the privacy policy.
A booking made via the website is initially a request ("option"). The agreement is only formed once the landlord has confirmed the booking. The guest will be notified of this at the email address provided with the booking.
After confirmation, the guest receives a personal booking page (via a unique link) with the booking details, payment status and other information about the stay.
The rental price consists of the price per night (depending on the season), a one-off cleaning fee, and, where applicable, tourist tax per person per night and a surcharge for pets. These amounts are shown in the price overview before the guest confirms the booking.
All prices stated are in euros. Price changes after a confirmed booking do not affect reservations that have already been confirmed.
Upon confirmation of the booking, the guest owes a deposit of 30% of the total amount. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 8 weeks before arrival, unless otherwise agreed.
For bookings made within 8 weeks of arrival, the full amount must be paid in one go.
Check-in is possible from 14:00 on the arrival day; check-out must take place before 11:00 on the departure day, unless otherwise agreed. Practical information (key code, wifi, directions) is provided to the guest on the personal booking page once the booking is confirmed.
The number of people staying may not exceed the number stated at booking. Pets are only allowed if indicated at the time of booking and the corresponding surcharge has been paid.
The guest will take good care of the property and its contents, and will follow the house rules stated on the personal booking page. Damage to the property or its contents occurring during the stay will be charged to the guest.
The landlord is not liable for damage, theft, accidents or injury during the stay, unless caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of the landlord. The guest is advised to take out their own travel and/or cancellation insurance.
The cancellation policy applies to cancelling or shortening a booking. If you would instead like to extend your stay, please contact us directly — no cancellation costs apply, you only pay for the extra nights (subject to availability).
If the landlord is unable to make the property available due to force majeure (e.g. fire or water damage), a suitable solution will be sought in consultation with the guest, including a refund of amounts already paid.
Complaints about the stay should be reported to the landlord as soon as possible, preferably during the stay, via info@bungalow-woldzicht.nl, so there is an opportunity to resolve them.
This agreement is governed by Dutch law. Disputes will preferably be resolved through mutual consultation.
